This is Integral Thelema. It is a place to look at Thelema from a deeper perspective. There are plenty of fly-by-night teachers and grifters within occulture today. They want your money to “help you find your True Will.” They write about Thelema as if it has little practical value beyond “magick” as some spooky system of self-refinement. They write without understanding the complexity of Thelema as a complete worldview, a revolution in “philosophy, religion, ethics and the whole nature of Man,”¹Crowley, Aleister, Mary Desti, and Leila Waddell. 1997. This is a place that takes that statement seriously instead of wand-waving and dick-measuring. The goal of Integral Thelema is not to convince you of the ‘rightness’ of any position that may be espoused. There is only a single mandate here: “and to each man and woman that thou meetest, were it but to dine or to drink at them, it is the Law to give. Then they shall chance to abide in this bliss or no; it is no odds.” [AL 3.39]. It is the “it is no odds” that is taken seriously too. Take it or leave it. No matter. There is nothing here that is not well supported or, at the least, well-argued and open to temperate discussion.

What you won’t find here is a willingness to debate the minutiae of qabalistic masturbation, create “ladders to God” out of degree hierarchies of esoteric orders, or push Victorian occult practices that have little bearing on the very real existential journey of “every man and every woman” [AL 1.3] in the world. Thelema is about today. Those authors still regurgitating the doctrines from the last 60 years that have been handed out from O.T.O.—and those who are still the drooling lackeys of that same Order—have missed the wealth and beauty of Thelema as it was revealed to Crowley and as it pertains to the here and now. Many betray their lack of literacy as they teach one message about Thelema in opposition to Crowley’s clear message of Thelema: life, light, love, and liberty of the law to all people in all places.

Integral Thelema is a place for real talk, real-world application, for real people. It throws the armchair out into the streets.

Where liberty defines the boundaries of the Law and love is the underlying gravity of the Law, life is the manifested existence of the Law that shines its light on every corner of human endeavor.

If you’d like to join the journey, some new ideas, some old ideas, some novel ideas, and some recycled and repurposed ideas will all be presented along the way. Not all of them will be right, but they are decades worth of research, reading, collating information, and working through moving forward into this current aeon through reconciliation with Thelema qua Thelema rather than continuing to stagnantly peer backward through a glass, darkly, in rebellion against the previous aeon.
